Baritone Richard Williams is enjoying a renewed performing career in recitals and oratorios after an extended hiatus from the music stage. For twenty years. Richard served as artistic director of a Opera Pro Cantanti; since then, he has performed Orff’s Carmina Burana with Pacific Spirit Choir of West Vancouver under Kevin Zakresky, Monteverdi Vespers, and Mozart Requiem with Belle Voci Chamber Choir under Paula DeWit, and Messiah with the Richmond Orchestra and Chorus under Brigid Coult. Recent performances include Schubert's Die Winterreise at the Ukranian Cultural Centre, and a program of English Art Song at St. Andrew’s Wesley Church. This summer, Richard will be performing as soloist in the Brahms Requiem for SummerChor under Alison Nixon.
